Boerenlandfair: Fun day for the whole family!

Once a year, in early summer, the beautiful small village Westerland on the former island of Wieringen is home for the ‘Boerenlandfair’. This English Country Fair style event offers a wide range of products for the rural lifestyle.

The Boerenlandfair Westerland provides a unique opportunity to appreciate what is great about Dutch Country Living, fresh gourmet food, products for home and garden, antiques, shabby chic furniture and accessories.

Conveniently located on the Fair ground the “Theetent” provides a haven whilst keeping you at the heart of the action. Here you can enjoy a ‘high tea’ with homemade cakes.

In addition, there is a wide variety of entertainment such as demonstrations, music and traditional dance. Kids are never bored, there is a mini fun fair and games. Therefore the Boerenlandfair is a popular fair with something for all the family!

The Boerenlandfair takes place at the “Kikkert Meadow” (corner Westerlanderweg/Noorderkerkweg) in Westerland on Sunday 18 June 2023

Entry to the exhibition (adults age 15+): € 3,- . CASH PAYMENT Children under 15 FREE (with paid adult).

Parking is FREE. Follow the signs ‘P Dorpsfeest’. ATTENTION! Cars must be parked in the designated parking areas. Need help? Ask our car park attendant or security staff.
